In my previous life, I was an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company where I worked with large, national health systems across the areas of strategy, M&A, operations, and organizational excellence and led the Firm's recruiting and professional development efforts for underrepresented advanced degree candidates.

I have a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology & Emory University where I studied lipid metabolism in Sickle Cell Disease and an M.S. and B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Virginia and the University of Maryland, respectively.

I am the proud husband of Shay, a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, and father to my princesses, Amari & Averi, and dogter, Coco. We love traveling the world, enjoying new cuisines, and competitive board and card games.
